6ix9ine Makes Snide Remark About Nicki Minaj's New Lil Baby Collaboration

Written by: Khalif Thompson

When 6ix9ine and Nicki Minaj collaborated on the song "FEFE" in 2018, they put all hip-hop and pop lovers on notice.

"FEFE" drew everyone's attention, whether it was because of the shocking nature of their music video or because people were actually appreciating the song.

As a result of their musical chemistry and relationship outside of the studio, Nicki and Tekashi collaborated more on "FEFE." Nicki has been collaborating with even more new talent in recent years, such as NBA YoungBoy and BIA, and making hits with them as well.

Nicki has released back-to-back tracks with Lil Baby the last two Fridays (February 4 and 11). The opening single, "Do We Have A Problem?" had an almost 10-minute lengthy music video short film, which added to an already epic collaboration.

The new song "Bussin," which was released yesterday (February 11), was a bit more low-key than the previous one. It was clear right away that Minaj was using the same flow on "Bussin" that she seemed to debut on "FEFE" with 6ix9ine.

In response to this notice, fans began tweeting their feelings and reactions with split positions of those supporting Nicki saying her flow has been that way before the collab with Tekashi, while others argue she’s using the same flow as that of her verse on “FEFE”.

However, 6ix9ine seemed to disagree. 6ix9ine casually wrote "lol" on Nicki's Instagram announcement post for "Bussin." This is a simple remark, but it has a lot of weight when it comes to interpreting the debate regarding "Bussin."
