Today in Hip Hop News, we report to you completely unprecedented news given to us by sources headlining that Coachella has lifted all COVID restrictions, including masks, negative tests, and even proof of vaccination.
Coachella 2022 appears to be making every effort to make this year's highly anticipated festival feel as normal as possible, after rescheduling four times in the last two years.
According to our sources, on Tuesday, February 15th, the music festival modified their admission and health guidelines, as well as their safety regulations, online.
Along with Coachella's announcement, Stagecoach, a huge music festival located at the Empire Polo Club in Indio, California, has announced similar changes, announcing that negative tests and masks would no longer be necessary to attend.
"Festival Admission Update: As we prepare to spend an incredible weekend in the desert together we are announcing that there will be no vaccination, testing or masking requirements at Stagecoach 2022, in accordance with local guidelines," a tweet shared to the event's official account on Tuesday reads.
Regardless of the new regulations, attendees have been warned that "the rules are subject to change at any time as determined by federal, state, or local government agencies, artists, or the promoter."
COVID-19 is discussed on both the Stagecoach and Coachella festival websites stating it is “an extremely contagious disease that can lead to severe illness and death,".
The first weekend of the latter will take place on April 15th, with the second beginning on April 23rd. Stagecoach will take place from April 29th to May 1st, with headliners including Carrie Underwood, Thomas Rhett, and Luke Combs.
