Today in Hip Hop News, Trump has as of late been taking the support of rappers with his recent moves of setting those free like ASAP in Sweden and Kodak’s pardon.
Rapper DaBaby claims he's fine with Donald Trump because of his late-night pardon of Kodak Black in 2020.
During a recent appearance on the Full Send Podcast, the "Babysitter" rapper expressed his thoughts on Trump.
When asked of his opinion on Trump by hosts DaBaby openly commented, “Do I fuck with Trump? Now, hell yeah,"
When asked what made him change his mind towards Trump, DaBaby stated, "Trump is a gangsta." "He let Kodak out."
He also stated that he would consider becoming a "campaign partner" for Trump.
After Black was charged with guns possession in 2020, Trump reduced his sentence. Since then, Black has been an outspoken backer of Trump.
The former President also commuted Lil Wayne's sentence.
The Full Send hosts previously interviewed Trump on an edition of their podcast in March, when they talked World War III, Joe Rogan, Vladimir Putin, and other topics.
DaBaby was not always an admirer of Trump. Back in 2020, he revealed a text message from Trump's campaign team that included the words,”F–K YALL”. “Who gave bruh nem my number?”
He even further claimed that he will back Kanye West's presidential run in 2020.
