Today in Hip Hop News, after teaming up on a variety of tracks, DaBaby & NBA Youngboy have talently agreed to collaborate on an up and coming project soon to be released.
According to our sources, DaBaby and NBA YoungBoy are taking their collaborations to the next level with a joint project titled Better Than You on the way. Interscope/Atlantic Records will release the collaborative effort on March 4th.
Prior to the album's release, the pair will release another song to stir up the streets. On Friday at midnight Est, "Neighborhood Superstar" will be available on streaming sites (February 25). "Bestie/Hit," "Jump," and "Thug of Spades" were their earlier collaborations.
When asked what he thinks of NBA Youngboy, Baby explains “he’s dope, you know what I mean,” Baby told sources of YoungBoy Never Broke Again in 2020. “He’s creative and he’s transparent. He allows himself to be vulnerable on tracks. You gotta respect that as an artist, especially someone so young. He’s only 20 years old. Whatever he goes through, he’s willing to put it out there and he’s not ashamed of it. That right there is what makes someone special.
Dababy goes further by explaining his appreciation for Youngboy’s authenticity and transparency with his fan-base.
“He’s honest with himself and his fans. He accepts who he is. I appreciate people like that. You find them few and far between. A lot of people act like they perfect and like they don’t go through shit, he’s not one of those people.”
DaBaby's most recent single, "Book It," was released in January, while YoungBoy Never Broke Again took aim at Lil Durk, Gucci Mane, and others on his menacing "I Hate YoungBoy" tune earlier this week from his Utah property. In addition, the Baton Rouge native released his Colors mixtape in January.
