DEVELOPMENT: New Shocking Evidence In XXXTentacion's Murder Trial!

Written by: Khalif Thompson

Today in Hip Hop News, a shocking new revelation may reveal in a long justice-awaited case the answers we’ve been waiting for.

Prosecutors think they've linked a live round recovered in suspect Dedrick Williams' residence to the murder weapon, according to court records acquired by our close sources, AllHipHop.

The murder trial of XXXTENTACION is scheduled to begin later this month, and prosecutors are working hard to prevail in their case.

According to court records acquired by AllHipHop, authorities think they have linked a live round discovered in suspect Dedrick Williams' residence to the murder weapon.

They've also determined that Williams' mobile phone was pinged at RIVA Motorsports in Deerfield Beach, Florida, where X was slain, only one minute before the incident.

Simply put, things aren't looking good for the defense.

Teneli, Dedrick Williams' girlfriend at the time, informed authorities that Williams admitted to being with both suspected gunmen on the day of the shooting.

She claimed he called the bigger shooter "Boatwright" and the smaller gunman "Tray." (Michael Boatwright and Trayvon Newsome are Williams' co-defendants.)

Teneli wouldn't go on the record, but she did claim she knew them and thought they resided in Fort Lauderdale.

Prosecutors have also obtained footage of Williams tossing $100 bills about on June 20, 2018, just two days after XXXTENACION was murdered.

During the deadly occurrence, X was, of course, robbed of around $50,000. The video was created on the day of the murder around 11:20 p.m. local time, according to GPS data from Williams' cell phone.

Broward Criminal Court Judge Michael Usan assigned Fort Lauderdale psychologist Dr. Blake McGrane to examine if Williams' co-defendant Michael Boatwright is fit to stand trial in November 2022. He, like Williams, is charged with first-degree murder and armed robbery with a handgun.

Williams recently filed a petition for Drake to testify at the trial, claiming that their previous feud was connected to the murder.

However, there has been no proof that ties Drake to the incident. The prosecution is anticipating jury selection to end by the end of January.
