Many may have heard of the famous rapper and actor Earl Simmons, also known as DMX. He was trending in the late 1990’s after dropping his debut album, and he started his career in the early 1990’s.
The artist passed away on April 9, 2021 at age 50.
DMX had a net worth of 10 million.
As you can predict, family members and children of DMX would receive some of his financial earnings.
A woman from Georgia who is named Raven Barmer-Simmons, had showed up for DMX’s estate, in hopes of receiving a portion of money.
The woman has allegedly reached out to DMX’s other children and said she was their sibling.
Many would think she just wants money, however she is willing to provide a DNA test, and potentially wants to get to know her siblings. If she is in fact DMX’s daughter, that will make her the 15th child.
If his alleged daughter, Raven, wants to be a part of the estate, she will have to prove she is his daughter, and go before a judge again, which she will potentially be denied.
DMX’s ex fiancé was denied in June, of 2021. His 3 sons, named Tocoma, Xavier, and Sean are temporary administrators on the estate, and his 2 daughters named Sasha, and Jada petitioned to be administors on the estate.
The 2 sons have less than 1 million while being temporary administrators on the estate.
All of DMX’s (legal) children will be entitled to the same amount on the estate, as long as they all follow the procedure and take a paternity test.
As more information is released about this case, his alleged daughter is fighting for a share of the estate, yet her DNA test, required from the judge, is still unknown at this point in time.
