Written by: Khalif Thompson

Even when “Window Seat” by the infamous Erykah Badu is being sung, sometimes fans have their own agenda of what they’d like to do in their own seats.

While performing "Window Seat" from 2010, Badu asks the audience how they're feeling, and the camera pans to an all-out brawl that broke out in the audience of the neo-soul icon's concert earlier this week.

In the video, one girl clearly appears to be winning the fight, while the loser's friend tagged in to assist before security intervened.

"Wow @jamespoyser......our music finally starts a riot," Questlove joked to one of the song's co-producers on Twitter.

Aside from the ruckus, In 2010, the melancholy track was released as the lead single from Badu's New Amerykah Part Two (Return of the Ankh) album.

The James Poyser-produced song was remixed with a verse from Rick Ross and peaked at No. 16 on the Billboard Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs chart.
