Former Employees of Adidas Accuse Kanye West Of Misconduct After Exposing Kim's Nudes!

Written by: Khalif Thompson

Today in Hip Hop News, Adidas said that it is looking into claims made by former workers in an anonymous letter claiming the German sportswear company ignored unethical workplace behavior by the artist previously known as Kanye West.

Adidas, which created his Yeezy line, severed relations with Ye last month after his hateful comments after being pushed to do so by other brands and businesses.

It stated that it anticipated the change to have a negative impact on its net income of EUR 250 million (USD246 million) this year.

Ye's comments led to his suspension from Twitter and Instagram, but this month he has resumed tweeting.

According to Rolling Stone, it spoke to more than two dozen former Yeezy and Adidas employees and obtained a letter from several former Yeezy employees to the sportswear company in which they claimed that Ye fostered a toxic work environment by displaying pornographic images and videos in meetings, using vulgar language, and intimidating the people who worked for him.

All of the former workers agreed to speak anonymously to the publication.

The letter said that despite being aware of the troubling behavior, the corporation did nothing to safeguard its workers.

The head of media relations at Adidas, Claudia Lange, said in a statement on Friday, “It is currently not clear whether the accusations made in an anonymous letter are true.

However, we take these allegations very seriously and have taken the decision to launch an independent investigation of the matter immediately to address the allegations".

She indicated that for the time being, the corporation was withholding more information regarding the probe.

Emails for response from Ye's last known music and personal reps were not promptly answered.

Adidas clarified on Friday that it "does not tolerate hate speech and offensive behavior and therefore has terminated the adidas Yeezy partnership" in response to Ye's earlier comments that prompted the business to end its connection with him.

According to Lange's statement, “We have been and continue to be actively engaged in conversations with our employees about the events that lead (sic) to our decision to end the partnership. They have our full support and as we’re working through the details of the termination.”
