G Herbo has returned with a new song.
On Friday (April 22), the Chicago rapper released his new song "Locked In," a homage to his late brother Gregory "Lil Greg" Jackson, and accompanied it with a new video produced by Lawrence Mahone.
"I was in a slump since I lost my brother," Herb raps over wailing guitars. "Locked In" continues to detail some of the difficulties he faced following the sudden death of Lil Greg.
Herbo has also had to deal with a public feud with his ex-girlfriend Ari Fletcher, who alleged on her social media earlier this month that the 26-year-old lyricist and his new fiancée Taina Williams abused their 3-year-old son, Yosohn.
In a video response Herb angrily expressed, “What the fuck type of sick individual, human being, do you have to be to want a three-year-old to despise or not like his own siblings, I don’t get it. A mother’s relationship with a child and a father’s relationship with a child are two totally different relationships.”
He further adds “Why do y’all continue to like create this narrative as in ‘oh, me as a father I’m having kids, I love my first born, my first-ever real true love in life, less than I could love the kids that I’m having now, or my kid feels neglected, like, my son loves me. Unconditionally.”
"Locked In" follows Herbo's latest album 25, which was released on July 2, 2021. Polo G, 21 Savage, Gunna, Rowdy Rebel, Lil Tjay, and The Kid LAROI all had cameos on the record.
