Legend, comedian, and Illinois born actress Betty White passed away at 99 years old early Friday morning (December 31, 2021).
Betty Marion White Ludden, a pioneer of early television, with a career spanning seven decades.
The one we all know to have played the iconic role of Rose Nylund in the famous “Golden Girls” television hit series which ran from 1985 to 1992. Throughout her life, White has been featured in VARIOUS big hits in her lifetime.
She's been nominated for several Golden Globes and has also been honored with lots of Lifetime Achievement Awards and celebrations through several organizations.
According to sources, emergency responders, including police showed up at her home Friday morning as routine and standard procedure. Given she’s been home bound since the start of the COVID-19 pandemic, she was regularly checked on.
Sources were informed by law enforcement that Betty passed away in her home a little before 9:30 AM. White was set to celebrate her 100th birthday on January 17, a milestone event for America.
