Jada Pinkett Smith Comments On Oscar Slap In 'Red Table Talk' Episode: "Talk This Out And Reconcile"

After what seemed like centuries of waiting for fans, Jada Pinkett Smith's Red Table Talk has returned to Facebook Watch with a new episode. The reality of alopecia was the topic of the June 1 program.

Pinkett Smith has alopecia, which became a super hot topic after her husband, Will Smith, smacked Chris Rock on national television while on stage at the 2022 Oscars after he made a joke about her hair condition.

Jada Pinkett Smith offered a message regarding the Oscars moment on the most recent episode of the award-winning sitcom.

“My deepest hope is that these two intelligent, capable men have an opportunity to heal, talk this out and reconcile. The state of the world today, we need ‘em both. And we all actually need one another more than ever. Until then, Will and I are continuing to do what we have done for the last 28 years, and that’s keep figuring out this thing called life together.”

Following that statement, Pinkett Smith would elaborate on the illness, citing statistics such as the 147 million people suffering from alopecia.
