Since the original incarnation of the "jeen-yuhs" documentary became available on Netflix, fans have been raving about it.
Dedicated fans had been allowed to witness a screening of the film in select cinemas around them about a week prior, to the same astonishment and surprise regarding Kanye's battles to be recognized as a legitimate rapper.
Social media was swamped with reactions, responses, and thoughts on the behind-the-scenes film of Ye's tumultuous journey, documenting the numerous emotions and ideas expressed.
As a result of the constant buzz, the film reached number one on Netflix.
Ye's statistics have risen dramatically as a result of the "jeen-yuhs" documentary, which has given his first album The College Dropout a big boost in recent plays.
The song "All Falls Down" has reaped the biggest benefits from the film so far, with a moment in which Roc-A-Fella Records employees dismiss Kanye's legendary single before its release being the most talked-about scene on the internet.
