On Tuesday night, Kanye West hosted a Donda 2 listening party in Miami's LoanDepot Park (February 22). While the event went pretty smoothly in the first half, the second half was disrupted by technological challenges that were too much for Ye to handle.
When Kanye was performing some of the original Donda tracks, such as "Hurricanes" with Lil Baby and The Weeknd and "Jail" with DaBaby and Marilyn Manson, the sound started to falter, and he ended up tossing his mic on the ground in frustration.
Almost immediately, jokes began to circulate on Twitter, with many accusing Kanye of forgetting his lyrics. But, for the most part, people were betting on how many members of the staff would be fired as a result of the sound mishap.
Despite the disruption, the Donda 2 listening event appeared to please Kanye West's loyal fans. Among the numerous special guests that appeared at the event to perform their respective contributions to the Donda experience were 2 Chainz, Migos, Pusha T, Alicia Keys, Fivio Foreign, DaBaby, and Marilyn Manson.
However, anyone trying to obtain Donda 2 will need to purchase a stem player for roughly $200. The album will not be accessible for purchase or streaming on Apple Music, Spotify, Amazon, YouTube, or any other service. Meanwhile, enjoy some of the best jokes from the latest Ye fiasco below here.
