As of late, a GoFundMe has been created said to be by the family of the late Kevin Samuels, which later we find to actually be a fake page created by an imposter.

According to recent reports, Kevin Samuels' family has stated that the GoFundMe page set up to fund the prominent YouTuber's funeral expenses was deemed "fake."

The money was provided through GoFundMe to the family, but they rejected it.

Kevin Samuel's family has claimed that the GoFundMe page set up to fund his burial expenses is bogus.

According to close sources, the family believes "an imposter" named "Melanie King" is behind the fundraising campaign.

The fundraiser, which had a $50,000 objective, was pulled off the site.

GoFundMe contacted Samuels' family and offered them the money raised by the bogus page.

The family, however, apparently refused this offer, and individuals who gave to the page were given refunds.

A GoFundMe spokesperson told Complex:

“In this case, we have been in touch with a representative of the family and the family has stated that they do not wish to receive funds from fundraisers. As such, our Trust & Safety team is proactively monitoring the platform for fundraisers created on the family’s behalf, and will remove fundraisers started without family consent. To note, we often see fundraisers started in response to news like this by friends, neighbors, and even strangers with good intentions, as people want to help. Our goal is to always protect donors.”

Kevin Samuels, a controversial YouTuber, died at the age of 56 in Atlanta, Georgia. Fans are lamenting the loss of the beloved "image consultant." Some loathed him because of his notoriety for harsh criticism of Black women.
