Today in Hip Hop News, yesterday evening's headliner (July 23), Kid Cudi, canceled his performance early when audience members continuously tossed things onto the stage at Miami's Rolling Loud on Friday.
At the same time, Kanye West, who had been booted from Rolling Loud's schedule only days before, made an unexpected cameo during Lil Durk's Friday night set.
Kid Cudi joined Rolling Loud earlier this week as a last-minute substitute for his former collaborator-turned-rival, Kanye West.
The two rappers' animosity reportedly penetrated the audience, as audience members continuously stopped Cudi's concert by tossing things at him and yelling West's name.
Cudi concluded his play after 30 minutes and went off stage, as recorded by fan film.
To add insult to injury, West made a surprise appearance on an adjacent stage, joining fellow Chicago rapper Lil Durk to perform "Father Stretch My Hands Pt. 1." (a song which features Cudi singing the chorus).
West has yet to explain why he was booted from Rolling Loud's program. He supposedly has a dispute with Kid Cudi because of Cudi's connection with Pete Davidson (who is presently dating West's ex-wife, Kim Kardashian).
