Today in Hip Hop News, we discuss the controversial Kodak Black and his unwavering support of Donald Trump which we know to be of his infamous presidential pardon he received from the President at the time.
Black’s latest album release “Back For Everything”, saw a projection of almost 60k sales in the first week of its release. It also was recorded to be his third highest first week sales for a project in his career.
This triumph, however, would not have been possible if Donald Trump had not pardoned him from prison during the final week of his presidency. Yak has always been grateful for Trump's gift and has publicly supported him and Make America Great Again ever since.
Kodak is obsessed with Donald Trump, whether it's having dreams about him and declaring his love for him, campaigning for his re-election, or wearing MAGA caps.
This week, Kodak demonstrated his admiration for Trump once more when he paid a visit to the Nelk lads, a viral group of teenage influencers, on their Full Send podcast. When asked about his feelings for Trump, Kodak replied that he wants to repay the favor Trump has done for him: "I gotta show my support. I'm forever [indebted] to that boy."
Yak went on to add that the United States' decision to remove Trump from office and replace him with Vice President Joe Biden was the worst thing the country could have done: “Getting rid of Trump was the worst thing America could have did”.
It's unclear whether Trump will run for president again in 2024, but if he does, he can count on Kodak Black's unquestioning support.
