Today in Hip Hop News, For a new edition of their show, Gutsy, which debuted on Apple TV+ on Friday, Hillary Clinton and her daughter Chelsea chatted with Megan Thee Stallion.
Hilary acknowledges throughout the conversation that the only way she first heard Megan's music was through her landmark 2020 duet with Cardi B, "WAP."
Before the premiere of the show, Hilary revealed to PEOPLE that she was first in awe of the song.
"I didn't know what to think, because I'm of a much different generation, but I admired the audacity and the kind of agency that both of those young women were exhibiting: 'Here I am. Here's what I want to say, and either like it or not.' I did respond to that."
Chelsea responded “It’s great to see women be so kind of fierce”.
Megan also talks about how people join a "bandwagon" when they witness others "attacking a woman" in the conversation preview, but she asserts that her critics will become exhausted before she does.
Other guests on the Clintons' new talk show include Kim Kardashian, Dr. Jane Goodall, Goldie Hawn, Kate Hudson, Amy Schumer, and more. The whole eight-episode run of the show is currently accessible on Apple TV+.
