News is floating around that R. Kelly has found him a new prison buddy.
R. Kelly and Frank James, the suspected Brooklyn subway gunman, have become friends behind prison bars, according to reports.
The two guys are being detained at the Metropolitan Detention Center in Sunset Park until their next court hearing.
Kelly is awaiting punishment for sex trafficking, while James will stand trial for the shooting on the N-train.
According to sources within the jail, the two have become buddies.
One source says, “they actually sit together and eat together.”
Another notes, “They talk about TV shows. They go out to rec together. They’re buds.”
Both guys are in the problematic detention facility, which holds high-risk convicts such as government informants.
R. Kelly, James's bunkmate, is alone in his room.
According to insiders, James consumes a lot of coffee, whilst Kelly uses music to cope and has done an a cappella rendition of "I Believe I Can Fly."
