The rapper posted on his Instagram story to his fans that he’ll be attending an event with Kelly Clarkson.

NBC's new series is based on "Eurovision Song Contest," which has been running for 65 seasons and is one of the longest-running television shows in history.

According to the network, the all-live program would last for eight weeks, commencing on Monday, March 21, and finishing on May 9, 2022, with the "Grand Final."

Following his debut as a Mega Mentor on Season 20 of "The Voice" and his recent Super Bowl halftime performance, Snoop Dogg discussed his future NBC appearance.

"I am honored to host 'American Song Contest' alongside my lil sis Kelly Clarkson, aka Miss Texas," the multi-platinum artist added.

Clarkson, who rose to stardom after winning the opening series of "American Idol" 20 years ago and has served as a coach on "The Voice" for several seasons, said the show's idea thrills her.

Snoop Dogg recently performed with Eminem, Dr. Dre, and others during the Super Bowl Halftime Show.
