On Tuesday night, Lil Duval got engaged in an automobile accident in the Bahamas (July 26). After his quad was hit by a vehicle, the comedian posted terrible footage of himself being put into an ambulance on Instagram.
Duval claimed in the video's commentary that he had a shattered leg and had to be evacuated to Nassau, the Bahamas' main city, so that his injuries could be treated.
While further information is lacking, the video shows Lil Duval tied on a gurney with bandages around his forehead, arm, and chest, and his left leg in a cast.
Many in the Hip Hop community sent their condolences to the 45-year-old comedian, who also works as a part-time rapper. After learning about the tragedy, 50 Cent expressed his condolences on Instagram on Wednesday (July 27), saying, "Damn my prayers go out to @lilduval and his loved ones I hope,he has a speedy recovery."
Meanwhile, T.I., 2 Chainz, Ludacris, Jermaine Dupri, Kevin Hart, DJ Clue, Bun B, Xzibit, Jamie Foxx, and others expressed their condolences and prayers in Duval's comments area.
“Maaaaaan I’m gon pray that you get well first. Then find it in yo heart to sitcho old ass down somewhere & rest big bro…. Amen,” Tip wrote, and Tity Boi added, “Dam bro i hope you good bru.”
In 2018, Lil Duval's "Smile Bitch" featuring Snoop Dogg reached No. 56 on the Billboard Hot 100. In February, he collaborated with Too $hort on "Big Sexy Thang."
