UPDATE: Police Claims Blueface's Attempted Murder Shooting Was A Result Of A Bad Joke!

Written by: Khalif Thompson

As promised, we at VHip Hop News are updating you on our previous article of rapper Blueface and his recent arrest on a warrant for attempted murder.

Currently, Blueface is being investigated for an attempted murder that allegedly resulted from an offensive joke said at a strip club.

Legal docs that were acquired by TMZ state that on October 8 when Blueface was at the Euphoric Gentlemen's Club in Las Vegas, his accused gunshot victim made a joke about the rapper speaking to "some females in a cheap vehicle."

Members of Blueface's crew allegedly attacked the victim "multiple times" when the joke wasn't well received. Blueface reportedly fired bullets at the man's pickup as he attempted to flee the scene in it.

According to police, the truck was hit numerous times by bullets, and the man's left hand had a "bullet graze wound."

As was previously reported, on November 15, outside the Lo-Chicken Lo's & Waffles restaurant in Las Vegas, Blueface (real name Jonathan Porter) was taken into custody for attempted murder.

In connection with the incident on October 8, a warrant was issued for felony attempted murder with the use of a lethal weapon or tear gas.

He is also charged with firing a pistol into a home, building, car, or other object.

Chrisean Rock, the Los Angeles rapper's girlfriend, expressed her support for him in response to his detention on her Instagram Stories immediately after he was detained.

“Everybody that keeps saying it’s a sign to leave — what the fuck is you talking about?” she said. “Stop playing. N-ggas never left me when I went in. I’m going to court tomorrow and that’s all that matters. He coming home, I don’t know what y’all talking about. But tune in on our documentary, our TV show on the Zeus network, we outside.”

Before showing up in court on Wednesday, Blueface was arrested and sent to the Clark County Detention Center (November 16).

On Thursday, November 17, he was subsequently freed from police custody after posting a $50,000 bond.
