As we continue to report on the boiling public feud between Will Smith and Chris Rock’s viral physical altercation at the 2022 Oscars Award Ceremony, today in Hip Hop News, the long yet quick awaited apology from Will has come.
Just moments ago, Will Smith took to social media to publicly apologize to Chris Rock following the viscous slap after a slick joke made by Rock about Jada’s medical condition which we are not sure that Rock was made aware of before the comedic remark.
To remind our viewers, Rock made a “G.I Jane 2” joke towards Jada Pinkett Smith which has gathered controversy in the past 24 hours.
Jada, being very vocal about her late medical battle with “Alopecia”, which she’s shaved all of her hair off to prevent walking about with patches in her hair.
As she continues to report to our close and local sources, she’s mustered up the courage to be open about her condition to the public which has gathered some heartfelt responses, but also have pushed Rock to be held to a higher standard considering that the public agrees this was accessible information he should’ve known.
As other sources circulated that Rock didn’t know, Will took to Instagram to publicly apologize for his actions at the academy, but surprisingly directly to Chris who last night Will physically assaulted, cursed at, and then won an Oscar award as the night ended with a jolly-filled Afterparty.
“I would like to publicly apologize to you, Chris. I was out of line and I was wrong”. Words just hours ago viewers expected to get in the Academy apology or couldn’t have seen coming at all, but words we think should settle and reassure the public as the media circus dies down.
Sources are also reporting that American rapper and producer Diddy is claiming that the Will Smith & Chris Rock drama is “over” after the Oscars 22 slap. “They’re brothers”.
