Yo Gotti's Collective Music Group (CMG) empire has already grown this year with the signings of Mozzy, Lil Poppa, and the label's first R&B singer Lehla Samia, but he's aiming to extend his crew in a new way.
The Memphis rap entrepreneur said on Wednesday (May 18) that he is hiring a personal chauffeur to drive him about in his ever-expanding fleet of luxury automobiles.
The position earns a generous $250,000 salary, but applicants must be ready to wear a yellow top hat.
"Looking for a Chauffeur Paying good..250k #YellowTopHat Extra," he said on Instagram caption.
Yo Gotti's job ad came only days after he spent $1.2 million on two new Rolls-Royces to commemorate his 41st birthday.
Each ride costs $600,000 and has a one-of-a-kind handmade lemon-yellow inside. They carry on Gotti's annual custom of lavishing himself with seven-figure sums around his birthday.
"Every year we blow a bag," the CM10 rapper stated in an Instagram video showing off his birthday gifts on Thursday (May 19). “This how we do in this. We twinnin’ in this muthafucka.”
According to reports, Yo Gotti's birthday bash isn't finished yet. "Ayo, it's officially CMG Summer, and it's officially my birthday kick-off. Stay tuned, we have a couple more big announcements for y'all," he said in an Instagram video aired late Wednesday. "I spend a million dollars everywhere, and so far I’m at 1.2. Y’all keep counting … Street n-ggas we up.”
Yo Gotti revealed earlier this month that his annual Birthday Bash in Memphis will return after a two-year break due to COVID-19. On July 15, the performance will be held at the FedEx Forum.
While the roster has yet to be revealed, recent years' performances have included Lil Wayne, Nicki Minaj, Lil Baby, T.I., Jeezy, Gucci Mane, Megan Thee Stallion, and many more.
